Triumph for VAMED Vitality World
Once more, Austria’s leading operator of spa and health resorts wins the prestigious World Spa Award. VAMED Vitality World was named “World’s Best Thermal Spa & Medical Wellness Operator” in 2017. In addition, three VAMED Vitality World resorts received awards of their own.

Vienna, January 08th, 2018. In 2017, no fewer than four awards of the internationally coveted trophy went to Austria’s leading operator of spa and health resorts. In addition to VAMED Vitality World as the umbrella brand, the international jury also honored three thermal and health resorts of VAMED Vitality World: the St. Martins Therme & Lodge, the Premium Day Spa Silent Spa of the Therme Laa – Hotel & Silent Spa, and the Aquaworld Resort Budapest.
The 24th World Spa Awards ceremony was recently held at a high-profile Grand Final Gala Ceremony at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa in Vietnam.
Apart from VAMED Vitality World, other international winners include companies such as Gesundheitszentrum Lanserhof, the Hilton London Heathrow Airport, the Hulhule Island Hotel on the Maldives, the JA Oasis Beach Tower in Dubai, and the Saxon Hotel in South Africa, as well as the financial services provider American Express, the airline The Emirates and Sixt Car Rental.

The World Spa Award is considered the international “Oscar of the tourism industry” and was launched in 1993 to honor excellence, highest standards, and exclusive offers in all major sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
