Founded in 1982, VAMED was entrusted with the completion of the new Vienna General Hospital - University Clinics. With approximately 30 clinics and institutes, 2,100 beds and extensive facilities for teaching and research, this university hospital today represents one of the most important public health care centers in Europe and all over the world.
Since then, numerous projects in the above fields of operation have been implemented in Austria and abroad. We constantly explore innovative paths to further increase our efficiency and competitiveness. Examples of such paths are the development of partnership realization models such as PPP, international financial engineering, and the permanent enhancement of project management tools.
